Annual Small Business Week Event

National Small Business Week, recognized each May, is a great time to celebrate and get information about local entrepreneurs – especially for high school students. Each year PEEP hosts an event at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology to expose students to local entrepreneurs and educate them on the path to entrepreneurship, and the opportunities that it holds. In 2015, the event was generously funded by PNC Bank and attended by 400+ students. Growing in representation from the local small business community, the event kicks off with a panel discussion and Q&A that features local entrepreneurs from a diverse set of backgrounds, attended by 50 students. Following the panel discussion is a small-business fair, featuring booths hosted by local entrepreneurs, including a business that provides students with information on funding college. For more information on the PEEP Small Business Week Event, sponsorship and booths, please contact us at PEEP@pridecommunications.net, or call 704-375-9553.    ...
